Jennifer is a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA/L). She works for JCPS as a COTA/L full time, since August 2018 and The Kid SpOt Center a few evenings a week. Jennifer graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville in May 2016. Jennifer loves working with kids and helping them be the best version of themselves. When she is not working, she loves to be outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.
Bonnie brings more than 9 years of medical office administration and scheduling experience to her role and is passionate about serving the families she interacts with each day. She is originally from Alabama. Bonnie has lived in Kentucky for serval years and has made Kentucky home. Bonnie graduated from Elizabethtown Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys crafts, spending time with her soon to be husband, Matt, her pets, family and friends. Bonnie is always doing something outdoors from fishing, hiking, football games, and taking rides on their motorcycle. She is a huge Alabama fan, Roll Tide!
Shannon Smith is an OT who completed her Master's degree in OT from Western Michigan University in 2011. She's worked in any and all setting from skilled nursing, school districts, and mental health facilities. Her mom was a Special Ed teacher and her dad was an SLP. She always wanted to work with kids follow in their footsteps. Shannon is married to her best friend, Ryan, and has one son named, Tristan, and beloved dog Biggie. She's a community activist, tap dancer, and loves to cook for her family and others.
Megan is a Speech Language Pathologist who earned her first bachelor of science in 2009 and her masters of science in communication disorders in 2010 from Western Kentucky University. She has spent the last eleven years in private practice, skilled rehabilitation and consulting. Her specialty in clinic is swallowing disorders and she is also passionate about assessments and treatment of early language develop and disorders, cognition, articulation, and head injury. Megan is a certified yoga instructor, a member of American Speech Hearing.
Sarah Hutton is a physical therapist who received her bachelor's degree in Health Science from Bellarmine University in May 2015. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Bellarmine University in May 2017. During her time at Bellarmine University, Sarah completed aquatic therapy research studies including a case report and case study on the use of aquatic therapy to improve lung function and quality of life in children with Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy. Sarah and the rest of her research team were proud to represent Bellarmine University in presenting this research at the Combined Section Meeting 2017 in San Antonio, Texas as an aquatic therapy platform presentation. This research was then published in the National Aquatic Therapy Journal. Sarah has two younger brothers who helped foster her love of pediatric therapy as they have an Autism and Down syndrome diagnosis. Her love for pediatric therapy continued to grow after she received physical therapy before and after having her own spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis in 2007. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her miniature Goldendoodle (Nala), working out, reading, playing video games, and spending time with her friends & family. Sarah is also extremely passionate about traveling the world. So far her travels have taken her all around the United States, Bahamas, Austria, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, and Japan. She hopes to continue her adventures and learn more about other places and their cultures
