Executive Leadership Team

Brandy Close, M.S., OTR/L

Brandy is Co-Owner of The Kid SpOt Center and an Occupational Therapist. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Brandy has specialized training in the SOS feeding approach, handwriting without tears, sensory integration and many different trainings with therapeutic approaches for patients with Autism and other disabilities. Brandy had always dreamed of helping children through a clinic like The Kid SpOt Center. Her goal for The Kid SpOt Center is to provide quality therapeutic care to all children and families throughout Kentucky. Brandy and her husband Andy have four children, Bryten, Hudsen, Ali and Jay.

Co-Owner/Occupational Therapist

Jennifer Houk, M.S., CCC-SLP

Jennifer is a co-owner and speech and language pathologist at The Kid SpOt Center, LLC. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University. Jennifer has specialized training in the SOS feeding approach, the image exchange system and many different trainings with therapeutic approaches for patients with Autism. She loves that the clinic provides a safe place for children and families to receive the services they need. Her goal is to help as many children and families as possible throughout Kentucky! Jennifer and her husband John, have two girls, Skyler and Taylor and a little boy, Xander.

Co-Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist

Brittany Hunt, M.S., CCC-SLP

Brittany is a Speech and Language Pathologist and Clinical Therapy Division Director at The Kid SpOt Center. She was a mentor at KSC as a speech therapy student and has been an official member of the Kid SpOt team since April 2013. Brittany received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University. She has specialized training in the image exchange communication system and the SOS feeding approach. Brittany loves working with children and their families to help "Shape children for their futures!"

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their 2 children, Theo and Charlie.

Clinical Therapy Division Director / Speech-Language Pathologist

Marsha Herron

Marsha graduated from the University of Campbellsville with a degree in Administrative Technology with an emphasis in Medical Administration. She started her trip with The Kid Spot Center in 2011. Marsha is married and has two children and loves to spend quality time with her family. Some of her favorite hobbies include camping, cooking and riding a motorcycle with her husband. Her passion is to help others, and she loves being able to do it through her position at The Kid Spot Center. In her role, she can help families and staff understand their insurance policies and help children get the services they need.

Tonya Grant

Tonya joined KSC in March 2016 as Human Resources Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a specialization in Social Sciences. She has worked in Human Resources for almost 10 years in combination with specialized training in Human Resource Law, FMLA and Human Resources Compliance. Her favorite part of her job is to meet and connect with new people while assisting staff with their personal and professional growth. Tonya says she loves The Kid SpOt Center because "I love being part of something so meaningful to so many children and their families."

Jodi Allen M.Ed.., LPCC, LMFT

Jodi Allen is currently the Director of School Based Counseling Services at the Kid SpOt Center. Jodi has dedicated her professional career to taking care of the emotional and behavioral needs of children and families. She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a Master's degree in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. Jodi is currently licensed as a marriage and family therapist and professional counselor in the state of Ky and has extensive experience in trauma work. Jodi currently resides in Campbellsville with her husband and daughter.

Rebecca Price, M.Ed., LPCC

Rebecca is a board certified by the National Board, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Clinical Counselor in Alcohol and Drugs. She is also a certified DUI consultant and a Prime for Life instructor. Rebecca has sixteen years of experience in providing counseling services to children, adolescents and adults. Before joining Kid SpOt, she worked as a school counselor, co-owner/operator of a private practice and she previously worked at  Campbellsville University where she was Director of Counseling Services and Vice Dean of Students. Rebecca's areas of interest include holistic approaches to the treatment of mental health, treatment of substance use in adolescents, children of addicts and defense of the victim.

Erin Johnson, CSW, PBSS

Erin has a Master's degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University.  She is a Certified Social Worker who is currently working to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has worked for The Kid SpOt Center since July 2016 as a Mental Health Therapist and Positive Behavior Support Specialist. She has previously worked as a child and family therapist. She has received training in behavioral analytic services and cognitive behavioral therapy about trauma.

Amber Kendall

Amber received her Associate's Degree in Human Services from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in business from Campbellsville University. Amber started with The Kid Spot Center as Accounting Clerk in 2017 and became Quality Assurance Manager in 2019. Amber has previously been a family home provider for adults with disabilities. She has a passion for helping others and loves to be a part of "Shaping Children for their Futures".

Janet Woodcox

Janet is the Community Living Supports/Michelle P. Waiver Coordinator at The Kid Spot Center. She makes sure that all files and folders of The Kid Spot Center comply with state regulations and supervises our Community Living Support staff.  Janet has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Campbellsville University and a Master's degree in Special Education. She was an ECE teacher for six years working with students with mild to severe developmental and behavioral disabilities. She is married and has four children and a grandchild. Janet likes to read, spend time with her family and go to the beach/lake.

Community Living Supports/Michelle P. Waiver Coordinator

Jennifer Godsey

Jennifer is the Public Relations Manager at The Kid SpOt Center. She started working at KSC in September 2014. She is certified as a first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructor and a DDID: Crisis Prevention and Certified Intervention Trainer. Before KSC, she was a surgical assistant and receptionist. She is married to her husband, Kyle, and has a daughter, Peyton, and a son, Brayden. She spends most of her free time watching her children play any seasonal sport. She loves being a wife and mother. She is an active member of the Campbellsville Christian Church and enjoys volunteering in many of the children's programs.

Public Relations Manager

Jessica Parrish, COTA/L

Jess is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a variety of therapeutic and medical experience. She graduated from the OTA program at Jefferson Community and Technical College in May 2015 and has worked in pediatric, geriatric and outpatient therapy facilities.  Jess decided to join the KidSpOt Center to help children learn to cope and overcome their daily difficulties. She personally understands the challenges of learning differently from others and hopes to carry out The Kid SpOt Center's mantra of "Shaping children for their future".

Lead Therapist/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kristie Railey M.S., CCC-SLP

Kristie received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University in 2006. She holds a Kentucky license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Association of Language and Speech Hearings. Kristie has focused her career on working with the pediatric population. She has worked with this population since graduating in 2006. Through this experience, Kristie has observed the growth that children can achieve when families participate in the communication process of their children. When she is not at work, Kristie enjoys spending time with her husband, Dayan, her 2 daughters, Leah and Ellie, shopping on the Internet and watching reality television!

Lauren Roberts, OTR/L

Lauren is an Occupational Therapist who started with The Kid SpOt Center in August 2015. She has a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Sciences and received her graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 2015. She is licensed by the Kentucky Licensing Board For Occupational Therapy and certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy. Lauren is also certified in interactive metronome. She has also attended courses to develop and implement sensory diets and sensory integration evaluations and treatments.

Lynn Beard, PBSS

Lynn Beard is a “PBSS” Positive Behavior Support Specialist/” RBT” Registered Behavior Technician at the Elizabethtown location at The Kid Spot Center. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Exceptional Education Learning and Behaviors Disorders with Teacher Leadership endorsement. She began her career in the elementary school setting as an instructional assistant and teacher before joining the KSC team in April 2018. Lynn has been married for 24 years. She and her husband Bobby have two children, Kelsea 21 and Clayton 16 along with the love of our lives, 3 furry children- two boxers and miniature Yorkie!! They enjoy the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, kayaking, playing card and board games.

Megan Bailey

Megan Bailey is a native of Campbellsville. She has a wonderful husband named Alan and together they have 2 beautiful daughters. Megan graduated from the University of Campbellsville in 2014, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics. In October 2016, she was hired to be the finance assistant for The Kid SpOt Center. Megan is grateful to have a job that she likes to come to every day and is excited to see herself grow with this company.

Rebecca Parkey, M.S., CCC-SLP​

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University in 2011. She then received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Louisville in 2013. Rebecca joined the KSC family in February 2015, During her professional career, Rebecca has gained experience with the pediatric population in a variety of settings, evaluating and treating a variety of disorders. Rebecca is licensed by the Kentucky board and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Rebecca believes that therapy should be family-centered, functional and, most importantly, fun!

Samantha Giles, M.S., OTR/L

Samantha Giles is an Occupational Therapist at the Kid SpOT Center. She attended the University of Kentucky and received her degree in Kinesiology.  Samantha attended Spalding University, where she received her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Samantha joined the Kid SpOt Center in October 2016. She has a passion for working with children and enjoys spending the day working with her children. Outside of work, Samantha likes to spend time with her family and friends, reading and watching movies.

Campbellsville Lead Therapist/Occupational Therapist

Stefanie Sidwell PT, DPT​

Stefanie is a Physical Therapist and Manager of the Campbellsville clinic. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Transylvania in Exercise Sciences in 2008 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of KY in 2011. Stefanie joined the Kid SpOt team in February 2013 with previous experience in First Steps (ages of birth-3).  Stefanie has additional courses in several pediatric diagnoses and has attended several pediatric conferences. She loves helping children reach their full potential. In her free time, Stefanie enjoys water sports at Lake Cumberland, crafting and DIYing, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and son.
