  • Graduate from an accredited program for counseling or social work


  • Current license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC or associates level (Clinical Supervision provided)

  • Must have ability to pass and maintain current CPR certification


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Training as a mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical psychologist, or clinical social worker

Duties and Responsibilities 

Purpose: Deliver quality, clinical, evidence based mental health services to children and families forThe Kid SpOt Center, LLC.

Product:  A child who feels better about their life experiences and learns ways to cope with life adjustments and stressors in a healthy way

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mental health credentials and billing credentials

  • Maintain required certifications and necessary paperwork for KSC employment (CPR, First Aid, TB Assessment)

  • Provide quality care by assessing for mental health needs and responding with appropriate interventions and plans of care

  • Provide quality care by developing and updating as necessary Plans of Care that are relevant and meaningful to the child and their family

  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner as outlined in policy (i.e. functional assessment, behavior support plan, etc.)

  • Understand and follow through with suicide risk assessment process and referral process with children and teens as needed

  • Adhere to professional code of ethics for social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists

  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings 

  • Complete daily billing sheet

  • Develop and distribute homework one time per month per child

  • Develop and maintain parent/professional relationship while child is client at The Kid SpOt Center

  • Collaborate with other professionals at The Kid SpOt Center to ensure treatment of the whole child

  • Complete OMS stats as outlined in company policy

  • Attend necessary training as required and/or directed by supervisor
