Music Therapist

Emily received her master's degree in music therapy from Illinois State University in 2019. She completed her music therapy internship with Fulton County Schools in Georgia, where she worked with students of all ages and varying needs. Since then, Emily has worked in behavioral health, primarily with children through adolescents. She enjoys learning new music based on patient preference and loves to read current research about music therapy. Emily is excited to see how music therapy will motivate kids to meet their treatment goals at KSC. In her free time, Emily enjoys taking walks with her dog, dancing, crafting, singing, playing guitar, baking, and playing games.
